Welcome to our new monthly report: Beyond Better Business. What is the value of your people? In just a few months, we’ll see a rise in the minimum wage for Kiwi workers from $18.90/hr for adults to $20.00/hr. (Starting out and Training wages for those over 16 years are just $16/hr.)  Survey businesses, and you’ll get some contentious results: rising minimum wages put undue pressure on small businesses; it raises the standards of living; it protects and provides, supporting a healthier economy from the bottom up.
